CREEPY OR CONVENIENT: THE DIGITAL AGE AND PRIVACY #INNYOURIL
The digital age and its impact on the professional and personal lives of Inn members were explored in this program that featured a unique integration of the latest technology and social media. The program addressed the blurred lines between convenience of using digital devices and privacy concerns over the amount of data that is collected from the user. The theme extended into pre-event activities such as a Google Glass demonstration, a technology mentoring table, and on the menu with “Don’t Post on My Walnut Salad” and “Hashtag Potatoes.”
