William H. Stafford American Inn of Court

In March, the William H. Stafford American Inn of Court of Tallahassee, Florida, in conjunction with the Florida State University (FSU) College of Law, held a program designed specifically for its pupil and associate members. Developed by the Stafford Inn’s mentoring chair, the program featured a panel discussion on mentoring and professionalism, which was led by a judicial team leader and included a founding member of the Inn and several other barrister and master members. The event, also attended by FSU law students not affiliated with the Inn, was specifically developed to emphasize the professionalism and civility goals of the American Inns of Court Professional Creed and focused on exploring, analyzing, and addressing unique challenges faced by pupil and associate members in their practice. The program was well-attended and well-received, and the Stafford Inn of Court aspires to hold this panel annually as it further develops other mentoring-specific programs.
