Opening of the Legal Year Evensong in the Chapel of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn will combine tradition with song.

The Treasurer of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn will discuss the history of the judiciary in the United Kingdom in the Ashworth Centre before dinner.

The Amity Dinner in the Old Hall will include representatives from all four English Inns of Court: the Honourable Society of Inner Temple, the Honourable Society of Middle Temple, the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn, and the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn.

The Compline, the Latin word for completion, will follow dinner in the Chapel of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn.

The Honourable Society of Middle Temple tour includes visiting their library that specializes in American and International Law. A special highlight is the Molyneux Globes, a unique pair of terrestrial and celestial globes made in Lambeth by Emery Molyneux in 1592.

Temple Church was built by the Knights Templar as their English headquarters and is famous for being a round church, a common design feature for Knights Templar churches. It is jointly owned by the Inner Temple and Middle Temple Inns of Court.

Lunch in the Parliament Chamber of Middle Temple will be a beautiful setting before having a free afternoon to explore London.

The Inns of Court have a long tradition of entertainment. Revelry has played a large part in their activities since medieval times. The Middle Temple Revels is one of the required dinners for their students. Unfortunately, space is extremely limited for this event. Your indication of interest does not guarantee that this experience will be included.
