Alice in Hamilton: A Patent Ethics Musical
This Alice in Wonderland and Hamilton-inspired story set in the present day, entertained and educated audience members on patent law arising from the 2014 United States Supreme Court Case. The first song provides a musical procedural history of the Alice case, and each of the following 8 songs provides a fact pattern that raises ethical issues for patent practitioners under the USPTO Rules of Professional Conduct. After each song, the ethical issues are explained and explored in discussion segments.
