American Inns of Court
National Conversation on Civility
Join us this fall to discuss the role of civility in the legal profession.
Reserve your seat now; space is limited!
The American Inns of Court is hosting a conversation on the importance and role of civility in the legal profession. In addition to remarks by Associate Justice Neil M. Gorsuch of the Supreme Court of the United States, the program will consist of a panel discussion, facilitated by Kannon K. Shanmugam, Esq., Williams & Connolly LLP, and Q&A with the audience.
In the lead up to the program, American Inns of Court members will be invited to join an online community to discuss issues related to civility, such as: what civility is, the costs of incivility and the benefits of practicing the law in a civil manner. Community members will also be invited to solicit questions for the panel members. The community will be opened in October as part of the American Inns of Court’s celebration of Civility Month.
Additional programmatic details will be shared closer to the program date.
