Quotations from previous Pegasus Scholars

"The Pegasus Scholarship is a symbol of the shared heritage and enduring bonds of mutual friendship between the American and English Inns of Court. Pegasus Scholars stand at the intersection of American and English law, and are offered a unique opportunity to explore the differences and similarities between both legal systems. As a Pegasus Scholar, you will experience London in a way that is impossible for ordinary travelers. You will see the city through the eyes of some of its most successful barristers. You will debate the merits of American law and procedure with some of London's most accomplished judges. You will make lifelong friends, and share unforgettable experiences. When you return, you will do so with more knowledge, practical experience, and business and personal relationships than when you left. The Pegasus Scholarship is the opportunity of a lifetime, and I urge you to consider applying today." -Ryan C. Cicoski, 2014 American Inns of Court Pegasus Scholar

"To work, live, and study in the country that gave us so much of our own legal history, and which continues to influence our legal experience was extraordinary.  And the experience didn't stop there--to meet with judges and lawyers in England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, law students, debates, the opportunity to work on active cases, learn about British law, included in activities at the Inns of Court, and be a part of the British legal tradition was remarkable.  While I knew that the Pegasus Scholarship would be phenomenal, I had no idea just how profound the experience would be.  The Pegasus is a true fellowship experience, and I know of no other opportunity that could possibly come close to what the Pegasus offers.  Indeed, the phrase 'life-changing' doesn't quite say it." -Michael Lopez, 2014 American Inns of Court Pegasus Scholar
